There are many emotions of a human being and animals too. However, only Humans can control their anger. It is a common emotion of our daily life and we realise it daily, however, sometimes it is unnecessary so we need to know it to control it.

INTRODUCTION

I find this peculiar how emotions control most of our actions, we are so dependent on our limbic system. Today I'll be discussing about one of them which gradually turns into rage. I'm sure it might be present in all of us due to some or the other reasons, if not then you are secured, congratulations. Because most of the time rage turns us into someone we are not really, or don't want to become. But every coin has two sides, this could be productive for some if they have a positive and meaningful inspiration behind.

WHAT IS RAGE
  • It is a result of anger kept within, unexpressed for a long period of time which has the capacity to wreak our health and the people we surround. 
  • It makes us numb at times and gradually loose control over the situation and tend to react rather than responding to it. 
  • It's not less than a disaster within, which transforms via physical violence sometimes which is absolutely not good, we need to have control on ourselves which I understand is quiet difficult but altogether have to grow out of this.

CAUSES 

Anger could be triggered by variety of other emotions such as the following:

MY EXPERIENCE 

The following ways will help to prevent distraction with variety of thoughts which might be unnecessary for that moment, and can cause disturbance to our peace. This helps to calm the mind. Make it a habit and you will gradually reform yourself, to what you desire to become. Moreover, one should introspect themselves everyday to know more about oneself.

MANAGEMENT

We can improve ourselves in order to get rid of this, one ought to practice:

  • Meditation :  To be completely present and thoughtless at the moment. It's a kind of workout for brain, where we put all our attention on a particular thing or our breathing process, thus helps us in better awareness of our surroundings and assist in mentally and emotionally calm, stable state.

  • Physical exercises :  Make it a routine of exercising or doing some physical activity or practice yoga for atleast 30 minutes a day as it helps to lower the risks of blood pressure and other cardiovascular diseases. Also aids to maintain a sound health. 


  • Mental exercises : We tend to forget to charge our brains, but not our gadgets which has a great impact on our lives nowadays, therefore mental exercises are utmost important. We can do activities such as brushing with the non dominant hand, playing mind games (chess, cubes, solving riddles, puzzles), learn new skills, learn new dance steps, and practice deep breathing for relaxation.


  • Feed ourselves with healthy food : Avoid consuming fast foods, highly processed, refined foods. Replace such foods with green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, healthy fats and adequate amount of vitamins and minerals alongwith fibre or roughage. Don't forget to have water sip by sip.

  • Get sound sleep : Devoid of sleep or deprivation increases negative emotions and tend to alter mood significantly. Don't go to bed holding grudges within you throughout the day, distract yourself for 20 minutes with something pleasant before going to bed. You can also walk with your partner and discuss about the day activities. 

  • Regain strength within : Don't let rage or any unpleasant emotion overwhelm you. Have your hold on it by practicing the above mentioned methods. 

  • Be in the present moment : This contains maximum significance because in today's scenario people either live in their past or in future and then asks why they aren't experiencing contentment. Key lies in remaining conscious at the moment in a way that when time flew you didn't come to know, be involved entirely in the moment.

  • Stay focused with the task you are performing : It is another way of being present in a moment, here if you distract, one can repeat itself what he/she is doing. This way one can avert unwanted bizarre thoughts. One task at one time.

  • Self-Analysis :  Have a conversation with yourself silently in private, introspect and get to know better about yourself. Asses for the predisposing factors that alters mood and how you react towards a tense situation. By practicing the above mentioned methods we shall be able to respond other than reacting to situation accordingly.

We all have our different methods and techniques to tackle from such a situation but temporarily which helps us to prevent causing anything we shall regret later, which is great for the moment, but sooner or later we may face the same situation.
Rage has taken a long time period to develop into us, and it's obviously going to take time for us to get rid of it, we can't expect this to happen overnight. It ought to be removed from us because things can become worse when it overpower and control us through navigation of harmonious hormones.

  2. Nice nd I'll try this out.....moreover I feel anger is used to avoid anxiety nd gives a feeling of power in situations in which the person feels out of control.
